I always thought color was an interesting tool in art. I prefer to use as little as possible, but I find myself strangely drawn to art that has various colors and uses them in order to illicit a response.

The photograph has several great things going for it. The model, for one, has a gorgeous figure and stunning hair and eyes that pop out against the warm sunlight and bricks. Her skin is fair enough to that it catches the light very nicely, looking almost golden. The outfit would be interesting on its own, but the contrast against the hard road and building make the model just jump out so nicely.

I wonder about the photo's angle, though. While I like the framing, I wonder what it might have looked like with a more frontal shot at eye-level. The model's legs are featured nicely looking up, but I think we missed really appreciating her face and upper body since there is just so much going on there.

Overall, the combination of color and textures in this shot work very nicely together. The model pops out and is beautifully highlighted against the light and background.
